Dataventure (EDG GROUP) acquires The Ramp, a pioneer in local digital advertising

Paris, February 5, 2025 – Dataventure, a subsidiary of EDG and expert in Data and Performance Marketing, announces the integration of The Ramp, an AdTech company specialized in multilocal media buying. This strategic move strengthens Dataventure’s Local Marketing vertical and solidifies its position as a key player for advertisers in an increasingly digital local strategy landscape, marked by the gradual disappearance of printed flyers. With this acquisition, Dataventure Group sets its sights on €30M in revenue and 140 employees by 2025.

A shared vision for high-performing, innovative local advertising

Founded in 2019, The Ramp has established itself as a trusted partner for major retailers such as McDonald’s, Sport2000, and Franprix. Its technology—deployed centrally or in a distributed model—enables advertisers to efficiently manage local campaigns by aggregating both direct and digital marketing levers, while empowering local stores with harmonized communication tools. This merger with Dataventure, with whom The Ramp already collaborates for several clients, reflects a shared vision:

combining technology, industry expertise, and end-to-end support to help brands implement scalable, high-impact multi-channel digital strategies.

An expanded offering tailored to the challenges of multilocal advertising

By combining their expertise, Dataventure and The Ramp now offer a comprehensive solution covering all local advertising levers, merging direct and digital marketing. Their offering addresses every brand need—from strategy (geo-targeting, multilocal activation, connectivity with local channels) to execution (deployment across decentralized networks, real-time media trading and optimization, performance reporting), along with customized support and training solutions for local teams.
The founders and leadership teams of The Ramp will continue to oversee operations, aligned with Dataventure’s management model.

"The Ramp brings us the technological agility and expertise needed to deliver a complete multilocal advertising solution, with numerous differentiating factors in a rapidly growing market," says Jérémy Lellouche, Co-founder & Managing Director of Dataventure.

"In France and internationally, Dataventure’s commercial organization and strategic partnerships offer us strong opportunities for growth and synergies, which are already being realized," adds Eric Giordano, Co-founder of The Ramp.
